Having graduated thousands of students from all parts of the world,
the American Feng Shui Institute is the foremost center for learning
about traditional Chinese Feng Shui, Astrology, and other Chinese
esoteric arts.
About the Institute
Founded more than twelve years ago in 1991, the American Feng
Shui Institute is the only center in the West that is dedicated
to teaching the practice of Feng Shui as a scientific discipline.
It is where reason replaces ritual, and the ancient tradition of
utilizing Feng Shui as a tool for creating harmony, good health,
wealth, and peace of mind continues.
Soon after establishing the Institute, Master Larry Sang was contacted
by delegations representing Northrop University and the University
of Southern California (U.S.C.), which requested that he teach a
course on Feng Shui. He agreed, and the students that completed
this course of study were awarded Certificates of Completion. This
groundbreaking recognition by two major American universities remains
an important milestone of acceptance for Feng Shui in the West.
In 1995, the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) joined
the list of mainstream institutions that teach classes based on
information and materials supplied by the Institute.
As a Student of the American Feng Shui Institute you will receive
a certificate of completion from the American Feng Shui Institute
for the Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Feng Shui classes.
Please do not confuse this with certification or licensing, as there
are no requirements for practitioners at this time.
As a student of the Institute, we are available to assist you with
your study. We have an online Bulletin Board for questions and answers,
featuring a topic search. You can obtain access to the Graduate
Bulletin Board upon completion of the Advanced Feng Shui class.
Due to the complexity of the courses, graduates may repeat any
class in person that you have already taken, for $15.00 per day,
based on available seating. The repeat fee for online classes varies
with each class, so please inquire if you are interested in repeating
a class online. Refer to our online course catalog for the most
current course offerings.
In addition, if you are located in the Southern California area
and have taken at least the Intermediate Feng Shui class with the
Institute, you may become a member of the American Society of Feng
Shui. For only $10.00, society members may attend monthly meetings
that focus on continued study through practical Feng Shui readings
and question and answer discussions. The American Feng Shui Institute
is the only facility teaching Feng Shui that offers regularly scheduled
case study practice meetings under the guidance of qualified instructors
and Master Larry Sang.
